• Mr. Newton bought a motorcycle, with a new helmet and jacket, at Bike City, in Middelburg on Thursday, 07 April 2022.
• He requested the retailer to deliver the motorcycle the next day to his home.
• On Friday, 8 April 2022, he decided to collect the motorcycle in Middelburg himself.
• He told the sales lady that he would be returning home at Modelpark to show the motorcycle to his wife; otherwise, he would go to a guesthouse.
• The name and address of the guesthouse are unknown.
• He left his light blue Toyota Yaris, with registration number HJM 147 MP, at the retailer.
• The last communication with Mr. Newton was on 8 April 2022, via WhatsApp, at 12:40.
• In this conversation, he confirmed that he would be home at 14:30.
