SSS has been tasked with urgently investigating the kidnapping of 51-year-old Mr Kelvin Naidoo.
Our SSS Task Team is working closely with the authorities to find and safely return Mr Naidoo unharmed.
We request any and all information from our loyal network of followers.
THE EVENTS:
Mr Kelvin Naidoo, a prominent businessman of Gqeberha, was kidnapped earlier today, Friday morning, on 19 July 2024.
According to information, it is alleged that Mr Kelvin Naidoo stopped at his workplace at about 06:00 on Lindsey Road, Korsten, when a Nissan NP200 bumped into his vehicle, forcing him to stop.
Another bakkie, a white Isuzu KB bakkie with no canopy, stopped behind him, and five suspects wearing balaclavas went to Mr Naidoo.
They manhandled Mr Naidoo out of his Mercedes Benz and forced him into the back of the Isuzu KB bakkie, where he was pinned down by 2 of the attackers.
They sped off in the direction of Gelvandale.
The suspects left the Nissan NP200 and Mr Naidoo's Mercedes Benz at the scene.
In the meantime, it was confirmed that the Nissan NP200 was reported hijacked in Motherwell in June 2024.
The motive for the kidnapping is unclear at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
