Specialised Security Services successfully apprehended Reinhardt Verster in Pretoria during the early hours of Thursday morning, on 29/02/2024. The SSS task team, along with the Sinoville Crime Prevention Unit, did not hesitate to confront Verster while he was sleeping in a guest house around 02:00.
It is worth noting that Specialised Security Services had initially posted projects on 17/10/2022 and 1/11/2022 to warn the public about Verster's fraudulent activities, which he had been consistently carrying out.
Thanks to our team's swift and decisive action, Verster has been arrested, and justice will be served.
WARRANTS OF ARREST AGAINST VERSTER:
Verster was arrested on two warrants of arrest issued on him for fraud and money laundering as per:
Tweespruit CAS 19/08/2012.
Tweespruit CAS 17/08/2023.
VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THE ACTUAL ARREST:
His current modus operandi is to act as a middleman for coal mines delivering coal to Eskom.
He started a business in Mpumalanga but recently expanded his ventures to KZN.
He has been on the run for many years and defrauded numerous individuals and businesses.
In the past, he was also involved in scamming individuals with wildlife and stock theft.
VERSTER'S ACCOMPLICE:
His accomplice, Jasper de Lange works hand in hand with him.
Warrants of arrest were also issued for him in the above-mentioned cases.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the SSS investigation team.
The company used for business is Windham Mining or Windham Farm.
He does not have a vehicle and makes use of rental vehicles.
Currently, there are numerous cases opened against him.
