SSS Specialist Investigator Mr Cecil Benadè arrested Ockert Engelbrecht yesterday on 31 July 2024,
on charges of fraud and theft of a motor vehicle case: Midrand SAPS CAS 104/07/2024.
Ockert Engelbrecht is a habitual criminal - SSS has received numerous complaints regarding him.

THE MOST RECENT CASE - FOR WHICH ENGELBRECHT WAS ARRESTED:
Ockert Engelbrecht promised to sell our client's vehicle on his behalf.
He advertised the vehicle, a white Mercedes Benz, on Facebook Marketplace.
As soon as Engelbrecht received the vehicle to sell, he provided it as collateral for money he owed to someone else.
A case of vehicle theft has been opened.

Engelbrecht was arrested at his father's house in Pierre Van Ryneveld, Pretoria.
SSS works closely with the authorities to apprehend and arrest criminals.
