RECENT DETAILS:
On 23 June 2024, at approximately 19:20, the SSS Task Team and the South African Police Service (SAPS) conducted a joint operation to apprehend Mr Roux.
He was located at a known guest house in The Reeds, Centurion, where he had checked in to meet a suspected prostitute.
Upon the arrival of our task team, Mr Roux managed to evade capture with the help of the prostitute.
Despite his escape, the Task Team successfully recovered several critical items from the scene, including a missing vehicle, a gas gun, a bulletproof vest, and various other items indicating serious substance abuse, such as a crack pipe.
We urge the public to exercise extreme caution and not to approach Mr Roux directly.
Instead, we request information regarding his whereabouts.
Mr Roux has recently assaulted a young woman, leading to another case of domestic violence being opened against him at the Lichtenburg SAPS.
Mr Roux has recently been especially active in the Krugersdorp and Pretoria areas.
Wesley Roux is a notoriously habitual criminal who remains at large, a fugitive of the law, and a danger to society.
SSS warns the public to exercise extreme caution and avoid any interaction with him.
