Wesley Roux was supposed to appear in Hatfield Magistrate Court on Friday, 16 Augustus 2024, for the following cases against him:
Garsfontein CAS 347/01/2024 - Assault.
Garsfontein CAS 348/01/2024 - Pointing of a Firearm.
Brooklyn CAS 386/01/2024 - Assault and Intimidation.
He was also wanted for Lichtenburg CAS 152/06/2024 Domestic Violence and Assault.
Lichtenburg SAPS arrived at court and identified Wesley Roux wearing a blue suit sitting inside a Black BMW X5 SUV.
They came to arrest Roux on Lichtenburg 152/06/2024 for Domestic Violence and Assault.
The SAPS members monitored him outside the court.
When the detective from Lichtenburg walked towards the court, Roux drove away and did not return.
When he was called to appear in court for the abovementioned cases, he was not there, and thus a warrant for his arrest was issued.
It is clear from his behaviour that he knew why the SAPS from Lichtenburg were in Pretoria, and he deliberately left the area in fear of being arrested.
The following additional cases were also opened against him and are currently under investigation:
Norkem Park CAS166/07/2024 - Attempted Murder.
Silverton CAS 214/08/2024 - Intimidation.
Wesley Roux continues to operate a business in the Security and Debt Collection industries.
Although he has completed his PSIRA training, he has not yet been allocated a PSIRA number.
His application is still pending.
He currently does not have a fixed address.
Please keep in mind that hiding or hosting a wanted person is a criminal offence.
He intimidates and threatens his victims, who are then too scared to open cases against him.
This is in itself a separate crime for which he can be prosecuted.
We, therefore, urge the public to send all information about existing cases against him to us for our immediate attention.
If you have not opened a case yet, please do so immediately.
Please send us the case numbers, the details of the investigating officers, and all relevant information and proof.
We will send it to the appointed trustworthy police officers in the centralised task force.
It is important to keep in mind that you might be threatened or intimidated to NOT open cases
and NOT to send the cases to our organisation.
DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED.
SSS is willing and able to protect and provide the necessary safety and security.
Remember that we have already posted numerous project documents as warnings to the public
against Wesley Roux and his associates!
We have a proven track record of our pursuit to apprehend him.
