THE INCIDENT:
Our client reported that on February 1st, 2024, Mr Anton Koekemoer asked to borrow their vehicle, a light Metallic Blue Toyota Corolla with the registration number JDZ 393 GP, to renew his ID.
However, he never returned the vehicle and our client was unable to contact him as his phone was turned off.
Our client has not been able to communicate with Mr Koekemoer since and has reported the theft of the vehicle to Ermelo SAPS under case number: CAS 3/2/2024.
The client has been informed that Mr Koekemoer has a history of criminal activities and is known to frequent pubs in the Potchefstroom and Krugersdorp areas.
SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY OF STOLEN VEHICLE:
SSS Specialist Investigator, Mr. Morney Vos, confirmed that the SAPS helped recover the stolen vehicle in Witbank today. SSS appreciates the commitment and help of the Witbank SAPS police officials.
HOWEVER, ANTON KOEKEMOER IS STILL A WANTED PERSON IN THE THEFT CASE AND HE IS STILL CONSIDERED A FUGITIVE OF THE LAW.
