SAPS Hercules has issued arrest warrants for Rudie Lubbe and Chantelle Oosthuizen, who are currently evading law enforcement following the discovery of Jacques Freitag’s body on 1 July 2024.
Lubbe and Oosthuizen are accused of serious offences, including murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The body of Mr Freitag was found in the vicinity of Zandfontein cemetery, located in the Andeon area under the Hercules policing jurisdiction.
The discovery was facilitated by a joint effort of SAPS units, the Air Wing, Water Wing, K9, and local police, under the SAPS Search and Rescue Team.
SSS is collaborating closely with the various authorities to gather as much information
as possible to assist in the investigation.
