Coetzee is accused of perpetrating a heinous crime – the alleged rape of an underage girl.
The victim, a 14-year-old girl, bravely disclosed her ordeal to her mother in April of this year.
Subsequently, a case of rape was officially opened against Lawrence Louis Coetzee.
The South African Police Service urgently seeks the assistance of the public in locating a fugitive in connection with this disturbing rape case.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 49-year-old Lawrence Louis Coetzee, a resident of Seemeeupark in Welkom, Free State.
Despite the gravity of the charges against him, Coetzee has been evading law enforcement since the case was initiated, according to SAPS spokesperson Stephen Thakeng.
It is now suspected that Coetzee may have fled to Lesotho.
SSS and the SAPS urge members of the public to come forward and provide any information that could lead to the location and arrest of Lawrence Louis Coetzee.
