PERSISTENT CONFIDENCE TRICKSTER AND FRAUDSTER
As per the previous project sent out by Specialised Security Services on 1 December 2023,
Mr Marthinus Pretorius Strydom is still wanted on fraud charges.

Corrupt individuals are found in all sectors of life. Specialised Security Services has previously warned
the public about the criminal activities of confidence tricksters, fraudsters and thieves.
One such individual is Marthinus Pretorius Strydom, of whom we have received several complaints.
Mr Strydom was last seen in the Eastern and Western Cape provinces, where he moved from one guest house to another.
According to a witness, Mr Strydom switches vehicles at regular intervals to avoid identification.
Mr Strydom has used the bank accounts of his wife and minor children in the past to collect money from his victims.
Hence, he will not hesitate to borrow the bank accounts of friends and family for the same purpose.
DO NOT LEND YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO ANYONE, AS YOU CAN BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IF THE LAW IS BROKEN.

MODUS OPERANDI:
Mr Strydom does not make use of advertisements on social media.
This confidence trickster calls his victims personally.
According to Mr Strydom, he sells diesel at a much cheaper price.
He sends an invoice for the amount payable and promises to deliver as soon as the payment to him is made.
Mr Strydom never delivers the diesel after he receives the payment.
Bank accounts used by the Mr Strydom to defraud victims:
Capitec account number - 147 645 8268.
ABSA account number - 409 657 5116.
FNB account number - 630 745 094 66.
Nedbank account number - 126 939 6757.
A SAPS case has been opened: SAPS LINDEN CAS 418/12/2014.
A warrant of arrest for fraud has been issued.
Mr Strydom has been defrauding clients in various areas of South Africa:
Burgersford in Limpopo.
Bothaville in the Free State.
Klerksdorp in North West.
Between December 2023 and October 2024, several cases matching the modus operandi of Mr Strydom have been reported to Specialised Security Services. If you have been defrauded by someone who claims to sell diesel at lower prices
but never delivered the product after being paid, contact Specialised Security Services.
