EXTREME SEXTORTION AND EXTORTION BY POLICE IMPERSONATORS OR CORRUPT SAPS MEMBERS WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE SEX INDUSTRY
THIS IS AN URGENT WARNING TO THE PUBLIC – SEXTORTION HAS PROGRESSED TO INCLUDE EXTORTION.
The initial contact person who threatened individuals after some promiscuous exploitations is now in cahoots with a network of other criminals: enforcers, extortionists, police impersonators and corrupt police officials.
The sextortionist used to prey on vulnerable and lonely victims, threatening them with exposure to the family and friends of the victims. This still happens, but as soon as the victim pays the sextortionist, additional people step in and threaten the victim with false police cases of assault, rape, etc. The victim fears being exposed and humiliated before his family and friends for promiscuous behaviour and now also fears being persecuted, jailed, and convicted for violent crimes.
The SSS-task team has been involved in exhaustive investigations of SAPS impersonators.
An ever-increasing number of cases specific to this type of crime have been identified and are being thoroughly investigated.
This specific type of crime has been happening for a very long time, where criminals pose as SAPS officials to intimidate, influence and extort huge amounts of money from their victims.

MODUS OPERANDI:
Our client Mr. X and his friend went for massages at Die Hoewes, Centurion, in January 2022.
They paid for the massages and left.
At the beginning of February, Mr. X received a call from a “Ben Strydom,” who said he was from Lyttleton Police Station and investigating 2 cases against Mr. X.
The first case was for fraud because he paid the lady with false money and the second case was for rape because the lady alleged Mr. X. had raped her.
“Strydom,” said to Mr. X that for R30,000.00, he could make these cases go away.
Mr. X paid the R30,000.00 into a bank account.
“Strydom” sent Mr. X a “Revoked Warrant off arrest.”
“Strydom” called Mr. X the next day, demanding another R100,000.00 to be paid to “General Mashishi” from the Hawks to help him with this problem.
Mr. X was contacted again via WhatsApp and threatened with Interpol's involvement to extradite him from his new residence in Europe back to South Africa.
Mr. X then decided to acquire the services of Mr. Mike Bolhuis.
SSS ACTION STEPS:
The victim was placed under the immediate and complete protection of “Specialised Security Services” senior specialist investigators.

MODUS OPERANDI:
Our client Mr. Z visited a massage parlour.
When he walked in, he was captured, intimidated, threatened and held hostage for approximately 3 hours by the masseuse and another female.
He was forced to participate in sexual activities against his will.
He was kept in the room and forced to pay R18,000.00 over to them from his cell phone into a bank account.
"Specialised Security Services" will treat this case as a rape/kidnapping/extortion/intimidation/theft case.
The next day Mr. Z was called by “Captain Aphane,” saying that he was investigating a case of rape against Mr. Z and that he needed to pay him R30,000.00 for the case to go away.
Mr. Z only managed to get R1,500.00 and paid it into an account in the name of “BS Kekana”.
Mr. Z then decided to acquire the services of Mr. Mike Bolhuis.
