CASE INFORMATION:

Mr. Ashvan Badul is the CEO of a company called Wicklow Mining and Properties in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
In 2023 our client ordered Coal (Grade 23CV washed coal peas @500MT) from Mr. Ashvan Badul to the total value of R488 750 00.
Mr. Badul did not deliver the product to our client as per the agreement.
Our client contacted Mr. Badul via e-mail, and in a response email, dated 13th July 2023, Mr Badul confirmed that he would reimburse our client to the amount of R488 750 00.
Our client attempted to contact Mr. Badul on numerous occasions, but the telephone calls and whatsApp messages went unanswered.
Our client then contacted S.S.S to investigate the matter.
S.S.S confronted Mr. Badul and again, Mr. Baul made empty promises. He mostly boasted about himself and pointed out how he assisted the Police in Kwa-Zulu Natal. He boasted that he has his own helicopter, and how the SAPS and nature reserves in Kwa-Zulu Natal contact him occasionally for assistance.
Mr. Mike Bolhuis contacted Mr. Badul to confront him with the facts of this investigation, whereafter Mr. Badul confirmed that he would meet with Mr. Bolhuis in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Mr. Badul did not show up for the meeting with Mr. Bolhuis.
To date Mr. Badul has not attempted to contact our client, to replace the coal or to reimburse our client.
Owing to the above, our client lost a customer as he could not deliver the coal.
