Notwithstanding several requests for the installation of the fence or a refund of the R31,200.00 deposit paid Botha, has not been cooperative.

COURSE OF EVENTS:
Our client requested a quotation for a galvanised clear-view steel fence and its installation from Trevor Botha of TB Construction
On 8 June 2023, our client received and accepted the quotation.
They were asked to pay 80% of the total amount quoted as a deposit, which came to R31,200.00 out of a total of R39,000.00.
Later, someone claiming to be an employee of Trevor Botha came to install the fence, but it was not the material our client had paid for.
Consequently, our client dismissed the worker.
After that, our client tried to get in touch with Mr Botha numerous times, from 19 June 2023 to 18 November 2023, in an effort to either have the fence they had ordered installed or to get their deposit refunded.
