PROJECT: PERSON OF INTEREST - DHARMESHBHAI BHATT ALIAS JAY MAHARAJ - EXPOSURE (PART 2)

YOU MAY SHARE THIS PUBLIC DOCUMENT

Dharmeshbhai Bhatt alias Jay Maharaj has been identified as a person of interest in the manufacturing and distribution of fake ID documents and official travel documents.

Our SSS specialist investigators request that any person with information on Bhatt's whereabouts contact us.

THE CASE:

  • Dharmeshbhai D Bhatt is only one of several aliases that we are aware of, including Dharmesh Bhatt, Jay Maharaj, and Kaka.

  • Our client paid Bhatt R120,000.00 for fake travel documents and a fraudulent work permit.

  • While it is true that our client also acted unlawfully, Bhatt has been deceiving several people in the Laudium, Pretoria area.

  • Our client never received any documents, and after waiting for three months, he requested a refund.

  • Despite Bhatt's repeated promises, our client never received his money back.

  • Instead, Bhatt started making threats against our client.

PROOF OF BHATT'S BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS:

Falsified ID documents and travel documents have significant impacts on various levels, ranging from personal to societal and even global security. Here are some key points:

Identity Theft:

  • Falsified documents can be used for identity theft, where an individual's personal information is used to commit fraud, open fraudulent accounts, or obtain goods and services illegally.

  • This can severely damage the victim's financial well-being and reputation.

Illegal Immigration:

  • Individuals often use falsified travel documents to enter countries illegally.

  • This can strain resources, affect national security, and create social tensions.

  • It also undermines legal immigration processes and can lead to the exploitation of immigrants by human traffickers and other criminal organizations.

Terrorism and Organised Crime:

  • Falsified documents provide cover for individuals involved in terrorism, smuggling, human trafficking, and other organised criminal activities.

  • Terrorist organisations and criminal networks often use fake IDs and travel documents to move operatives across borders, finance their activities, and evade law enforcement.

Security Threats:

  • Falsified documents pose a significant security threat.

  • Individuals with malicious intent can use them to bypass security measures at airports, government buildings, and other high-security locations.

  • This can potentially lead to acts of terrorism, espionage, or other serious security breaches.

Economic Impact:

  • The prevalence of falsified documents can have economic repercussions, including increased costs for law enforcement agencies, businesses, and government entities to detect and combat document fraud.

  • It can deter legitimate travellers and investors, affecting tourism and foreign investment.

Social Implications:

  • Falsified documents contribute to a sense of mistrust and insecurity within society.

  • They undermine confidence in institutions such as government agencies and financial institutions.

  • Additionally, they can lead to discrimination and stigmatisation of certain groups who may be unfairly associated with document fraud.

Combatting the production and use of falsified documents requires collaboration between governments, law enforcement agencies, and international organisations to strengthen document security measures, improve detection techniques, and enhance information sharing to prevent document fraud and its associated crimes.
