One such person is Alistair Robert Armstrong of AM Solar, who absconded with our client's deposit of R160,000.00.

Alistair Armstrong visited our client on 25 March 2021 and gave her a quote for several detailed solar solutions.
After due consideration, our client made an electronic bank transfer of R160,000.00 as a deposit towards the full quoted amount.
This deposit amount was more than the 70% of the required amount, as per the Payment Terms reflected on the quotation.
The payment was made to Inergy Group (Pty) Ltd, t/a AM SOLAR, an FNB account.
Our client sent multiple emails and WA messages to follow up on her delivery and the installation of her chosen solar solution.
It is clear that Armstrong's wife, Sonia, and his two sons, Liam and Luke, are aware of and part of the continued excuses as to why the installation has not been done and promises of when it will be done.
Armstrong refers all investigations against him to his attorney, who in turn also evades the authorities.
As a result, even the Sheriff, who was dispersed to his property, was shown away, and Armstrong has made no effort to appear at the MIDRAND SAPS.
