PROJECT: LOUIS LIEBENBERG AND ASSOCIATES (PART 9) – DEZZI LIEBENBERG: BAIL DENIED

YOU MAY SHARE THIS PUBLIC DOCUMENT

  • The bail application of Mrs. Dezzi Liebenberg was heard by the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate Court on 21 November 2024.

  • During the bail application, Mrs. Liebenberg’s legal representative presented her case and stated that Mrs. Liebenberg should be granted bail.

  • Shortly before the closing arguments were heard, Mr. Liebenberg was reprimanded by a court official for his behavior in court, to which Mr. Liebenberg addressed the judge and requested to be excused from court, claiming that he felt intimidated by the court officials.

  • Despite attempts by his legal representative to calm him down, Mr. Liebenberg lashed out in court and the judge ordered that he be removed from court before the proceedings continued.

  • Mr. Liebenberg was escorted out of court to the holding cell whilst shouting, chanting and showing his disrespect for the judicial system by pointing his finger at the judge and saying: “God will judge you, don’t punish my wife because I have guts!”.

  • The state opposed Mrs. Liebenberg’s bail application, and the prosecution presented several reasons as to why Mrs. Liebenberg should not be allowed bail.

  • The prosecution argued that Mrs. Liebenberg is a flight risk, that she could potentially influence witnesses, and that she is not being honest and transparent about her assets.

  • The state added that Mrs. Liebenberg could not supply the court with a fixed physical address, and instead of providing an address of one of her children, Mrs. Liebenberg supplied the court with an address of someone who is not related to her.

  •  Judge Vusimuzi Mahlangu ruled against Mrs. Liebenberg and denied her bail by stating that she is indeed deemed a flight risk because of various reasons. Mrs. Liebenberg will remain incarcerated for the remainder of the trial proceedings.

While the judge was busy reading his ruling on the bail application of Mrs. Liebenberg, Mr. Liebenberg could be heard singing and chanting from the holding cell, again showing blatant disrespect for the judicial system.

Watch the following videos showing Mr. Liebenberg’s behaviour in court:

Mr. Liebenberg’s bail application is set to be heard on the 25th of November 2024, but because of the altercation between Mr. Liebenberg and the judge, Judge Vusimuzi Mahlangu withdrew from the case,

and he will not be hearing Mr. Liebenberg’s bail application.

Can the victims of scam get their money back? Yes, if you have fallen victim to scam from an unregulated investment platform or any scam at all then are eligible to recover what was stolen from you and this can only happen if this is reported to the right people. With the right approach and with evidence, you will get what you lost back. Those behind these unregulated platforms will likely want to sell the idea that what happened to your investment was an unfortunate occurrence when in reality what happened was theft via elaborate means. If you are a victim or you know any one who is a victim of these occurrences, you should know there are people wh…
