It is important to note that scammersare not limited to online platforms.They are everywhere and do not hesitateto scam and steal from people they have known for years. Such a lack of remorse for their actions is unacceptable.
The SSS team has a group of expert investigators who are actively working to apprehend these criminals. One of ourclients had contacted Mr Mike Bolhuisfor assistance regarding the owner ofAVZA Coal, Awie Van Zyl, who had sold coal to them,received payment for it but neverdelivered the product.

MODUS OPERANDI:
Awie Van Zyl purportedly sold coal to our client, a longstanding client of his as well.
A payment of R872,469.00 was made to Mr Van Zyl.
No coal was delivered.
Awie Van Zyl works in and around the Witbank/Middelburg area.
He lives in Pretoria.
Our specialist team had several meetings with Awie Van Zyl in which he promised to pay the money back to his client.
At another meeting, he promised to discuss the repayment personally with his client.
He did not fulfil any of these promises.
It is a known fact that he has the financial fortitude to repay his longstanding client but he continues to ignore all calls and efforts to resolve this issue.
On behalf of our client, SSS exposes the unscrupulous criminal trends of Awie Van Zyl in an attempt to sway him to repay our client.
This action will also serve as a warning to other potential victims to ensure that they opt for payment on delivery or any other secure payment option before making upfront payments to Mr Van Zyl.
Mr Bolhuis and the SSS specialist investigators will always try to resolve our client's concerns amicably.
We always allow individuals to demonstrate their good intentions before exposing them to any criminal activities they may have committed. Unfortunately, in this case, despite our best efforts, we were met with empty promises and no genuine intention to repay the money taken.
