Specialised Security Services warns the public about three individuals claiming to represent Ortus Travel Company.
These individuals are Corne Schwartz, Roche Smith, and Corrie Ferreira.
They are involved in a scam that has led to financial losses for our clients.
We urge anyone with information about their activities to contact
Specialised Security Services immediately.
CORNE SCHWARTZ, ROCHE SMITH AND CORRIE FERREIRA
It seems that Schwartz, Smith and Ferreira are misrepresenting themselves as independent representatives of Ortus Travel/Otusgo.com.
They conduct seminars where they sell various holiday packages.
Unwitting individuals are coerced into purchasing these holiday packages and are pressured to make immediate payments.
The account to which our client's specific payments were made is now closed.
When these individuals realise that the purchased packages are not as promised, do not meet their expectations or do not materialise, and request a refund, they are met with intimidation and threats.
In addition to the threats, the perpetrators also make false promises and ultimately abscond with the money.
Please take note of the following information:
The company Ortus Travel/Otusgo.com is suspicious.
Ortus Travel/Otusgo.com is not a registered company.
They operate as an unregulated investment platform that serves as a pyramid scheme, offering virtual shares in OT-Fund, which is illegal and constitutes securities fraud.
The company lacks transparency, hides ownership and executive information, and has an unclear compensation plan.
Additionally, it has been reported that Ortusgo is unsafe, and users have experienced difficulties withdrawing funds, receiving refunds, or promised travel packages.
The website looks professional and very convincing on the surface.
However, the contact persons do not hesitate to intimidate or threaten remorseful "investors" who ask for their money back.
It is advisable to exercise caution when dealing with Ortus.com or any of its so-called "independent representatives."
Avoid making any payments or providing personal information until the legitimacy
of any given company can be verified.
If you have already made payments, it is recommended that you contact your
financial institution immediately.
