Specialised Security Services confirms that, despite being incarcerated since his arrest in the Western Cape,
Malot plans to contest the charges against him.
This 38-year-old is also a known abuser of women. He has been a fugitive of the law for many years,
and our specialist investigators have been relentless in the search for him to stand trial for the felonies he has committed.
Cases of burglary, vehicle theft, domestic violence and kidnapping have been opened against him at
various police stations in Gauteng in recent years.

The accused individual, Jacques Arthur Malot, who stands accused of various offences, including assault, kidnapping, theft, and motor vehicle theft, is set to contest the charges levied against him.
Malot, previously identified as the second most sought-after individual by the Sinoville Police in Pretoria, was apprehended in the Western Cape after evading law enforcement for a period of two years.
He was subsequently transported to Gauteng for legal proceedings.
Initially, Malot's case commenced in the District Court in Pretoria North; however, it has since been transferred to the Regional Court, which holds jurisdiction over more serious cases.
During a recent court appearance, Malot's legal representative, Heinrich Moldenhauer, notified the court of their intention to make representations concerning certain charges brought against Malot.
This entails Moldenhauer corresponding with either a senior prosecutor or the Director of Public Prosecutions, providing grounds as to why the defence believes the state may not succeed in prosecuting certain charges against Malot.
Notably, Malot has remained in custody since his apprehension.
