Specialised Security Services affirms its commitment to pursuing an in-depth investigation into Mr. Willem Kok
following the Johannesburg High Court’s ruling in favour of Mr. Mike Bolhuis and his organisation
and their right to forewarn the public concerning fraudulent dealings.
The court dismissed Mr. Willem Kok's urgent application with costs, based on the lack of urgency.
Given Mr. Kok’s history of fraudulent activities and prior convictions, there is a compelling case for him to be
recognised as a career criminal who systematically defrauds businesses and individuals for personal gain.
PART 1:
Fraud: SAPS Lyttleton CAS 25/08/2023
The amount of about R 5,000,000.00 was paid to Mr. Kok for a business transaction in August 2023.
The business transaction did not materialise as indicated by Mr. Kok and the client withdrew.
He requested his money to be paid back to him, though Mr Kok did pay back some of the money, an amount of about R4,000,000.00 remains outstanding.
Criminal charges were laid at SAPS Lyttleton for fraud against the subject and his business.
Mr Kok appeared in Pretoria Court on Monday, 25 March 2025, and the case was postponed to 22 April 2025.
PART 2:
After an in-depth investigation into the alleged fraudulent activities of Mr. Willem Kok, SSS posted a project to warn the public against any financial dealings with Mr. Kok.

After the project was posted on 14 March 2025, Mr. Willem Kok approached the High Court in Johannesburg with an urgent application seeking the removal of the SSS project detailing his alleged fraudulent activities from all social media platforms and a public apology for the publication.
The court dismissed the application with costs based on the lack of urgency.
This means Mr. Willem Kok will have to cover the legal expenses incurred by Mr. Bolhuis,
in defence against the unfounded urgent application.
PART 3:
Reports of Mr. Kok’s alleged criminal conduct were received by several members of the public and legal practitioners representing corporate clients who instituted litigations against Mr. Kok and his business.
Liquidations were also submitted against his businesses.
Anyone who was defrauded by Mr. Kok or his business is requested to contact the SSS investigation team.
It is essential that the SSS Specialist Task Team is informed of all existing and upcoming cases against Mr. Willem Kok.
Consolidating these cases will strengthen the prosecution's case and enhance the likelihood of a more severe sentence.
This office is also in the process of engaging with the South African Police Services team to cluster all cases against Mr. Kok together in an attempt to ensure the judicial process is successful.
It was brought to our attention that police corruption plays a role in diesel scams, and our task team will investigate this allegation thoroughly.
